Virginia Home Grown visits The Quarry Gardens at Schuyler for the 3rd show of its 20th season premiering Tuesday, May 26, at 8 p.m. on Richmond's PBS station WCVE. Monticello's Keith Nevison will interview the gardens' founders Armand and Bernice Thieblot via ZOOM. The private 40-acre natural area and botanical gardens surround six former Nelson County soapstone quarries. More than 950 species of plants and animals have been documented on the site. The gardens are open to the public by appointment.
