NN Native Plant Society News Spring 2022

Greetings to all our members from your President and Board of Directors, Although we have been in pandemic mode for two years, we have managed to hold two very successful plant sales in 2020 and 2021. In addition, several members have continued to maintain the social media available to our membership. Webmaster Kyle Langford has updated our website and is working to incorporate more important member information. Betsy Washington, who chairs both our conservation and horticulture committees, has maintained our Facebook page and submitted Plant of the Month articles to local newspapers.

Betsy also headed up a year-long herculean effort to revise our Native Plants of the Northern Neck guide which is now off to the printer and should be available in a few weeks. We all applaud the efforts of Betsy and her team.

We are finally comfortable resuming many activities that bring us together in real time. We offer a lot of opportunities for member participation. We welcome and need your help as we move forward.
Check the information below and mark your calendars.

We are looking forward to seeing you.

Nancy Garvey, President NNVNPS
